Meet Our Dental Team – Boise, ID

A Team You Can Trust

Smiling Boise dental team members at Southwest Dental Arts

Our small but mighty dental team is always happy to help, whether that’s answering questions about your financial options or describing a treatment process. With years of combined experience and a passion for outstanding service, our Boise dental team provides 5-star care to every patient who enters our practice doors. We invite you to get to know some of the friendly faces around our dental office below.

Andrea, Treatment Coordinator

Andrea loves meeting new people and creating long-lasting relationships with our patients. Nothing makes her happier than watching someone’s confidence grow when they see their brand-new smile. Andrea attended the College of Western Idaho and became a Certified Dental Assistant in 2020. She did dental assisting for one year before deciding that the front office was more of a fitting and enjoyable role for her.

Back at home, Andrea has a chihuahua named Batman, a Labrador retriever named Starr, and a wonderful chunky cat named Marbles. Other than spending time with her animals, she likes to read, listen to music, and hang out with family and friends.

Halley, Hygiene Appointment Coordinator

Halley brings years of medical experience to our practice. She’s a CMAA (certified medical administrative assistant) through the NHA and has served as a medical assistant as well as a surgical assistant in dermatology. She has also worked in insurance/billing for over seven years and was an office manager at a pediatric therapy clinic for three years.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Halley going to concerts, singing karaoke, and watching the Denver Broncos. She really enjoys alternative/pop-punk bands like Hot Mulligan, Blink 182, and Dance Gavin Dance! But it’s her adorable son, Camdyn, along with her dog and two cats, that get most of her attention and keep her on her toes.

Kayla, Dental Assistant

Kayla is all about creating lasting relationships with our patients so we can create beautiful smiles for them. Originally from Dallas, she likes to go to the movies, lift weights, attend concerts, and spend time with her siblings, niece, and nephew.

Austin, Dental Assistant

A native of Boise, Austin began his journey into the dental field at 19 years old, as he was guided by great mentors to learn all that he knows today. With half a decade of experience and counting, his favorite part of his job is helping his patients feel safe, comfortable, and free to enjoy their smiles. He especially enjoys working with those who hesitate to undergo dental care due to certain anxieties and being able to help them overcome any fears they might have.

Away from the dental office, Austin is very passionate about music as well as being outdoors. He’s a major sports nut and enjoys participating in various activities to stay healthy. One fun fact about him is that he spent six years on a tiny island on the Aleutian chain in Alaska when he was a child!

Jaiden, Registered Dental Hygienist

Originating from Nampa, ID, Jaiden studied at Boise State University for her associate's degree before going to Idaho State University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2022. She’s a Recipient of the Western Society of Periodontology Award due to her passion for treating patients with periodontitis. As a certified Restorative Dental Hygienist, she loves helping to reduce the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s by cleaning her patients' smiles.

Away from the office, Jaiden spends time with her three dogs and her husband—an Idaho State Trooper. Her family members are Treasure Valley natives and she enjoys hanging out with everyone as often as possible. She also likes lifting weights, cooking/baking, embroidering, and doing home improvement projects. One of her favorite views is of the ocean, but typically from afar.

Julia, Dental Hygienist

Julia was raised in Arizona, and she even completed her studies at Northern Arizona University. Since then, she has obtained her license to administer anesthesia as well as her license to practice hygiene in both Idaho and Arizona. Not only that, but she has over 20 years of experience in general practice and public health! To this day, one of her favorite parts of her job is talking to and caring for patients.

Julia and her husband have four sons and one daughter, so life is pretty busy! Even so, they make time for the things they love, like camping, fishing, and riding. Here’s a fun fact about her: she plays the piano and cello!
